Good location and nice trails for nature watching. It’s pricey for what it offers, and the service leaves something to be desired. Sometimes I felt my questions and presence were a bother. Only one boy in the service was truly attentive. The bird feeders stayed empty. When we asked to add some fruit to attract birds, we were told the fruit was for humans and ours was for the birds. The Wi‑Fi system wasn’t always working.
The room was spacious and we had free access to the rainforest walk and hanging bridges. The hotel advertised an à la carte restaurant, but none existed, so we had to order take‑away for lunch or dinner, which we paid for in cash because the delivery driver wouldn’t accept a credit card.
“Caro para lo que es.”
The cabin was large and the double bed was comfortable, and the setting in the middle of nature was nice, though a bit far from the main road. The reception staff were the most unfriendly we encountered on our trip across the country, only bothering to explain hotel rules such as a surcharge for difficult-to‑remove stains on towels. The paths and bridges were well maintained, but at noon on the first day the tour guides were everywhere. Overall, the value for money was poor.

I found a peaceful escape into nature, but the stairs are extremely dangerous and steep even though they have railings—my wife slipped and still has knee issues today. The tile or ceramic material should be inspected more closely. Randy was friendly and courteous, but the other two staff members were very unpleasant.

The location was good, but the receptionist was unhelpful and the floor in the breakfast area was slippery.
