Staying in the big, historic homestead gave a real time‑travel feel and nice views, yet the house smelled musty, was cold, the wood fire produced a lot of smoke hinting at chimney issues, and the hot water was scaldingly hot so the temperature had to be lowered.

It was a perfect 10/10 experience; the property was neat, beautiful, very safe, with stunning poolside views and immaculate decor, so I highly recommend it.
