We had a functional stopover, pleasantly surprised by a modern restaurant and a fantastic breakfast and coffee shop nearby (the old mill), which made the stay complete, but there was almost no contact with the owners and the dinner and breakfast options weren’t heavily promoted.

When we arrived the room was already taken by someone else and we were moved to a different place.

They offer a restaurant and bar on site, with excellent prices and good food.

The place had a great freezer facility, which was a lifesaver for us. Our host also went the extra mile by providing us with cutlery and wine glasses, which was a nice touch. However, the room didn't quite live up to the pictures, and we had to deal with no WiFi code provided. It could definitely use some TLC to make it feel more welcoming.
