“Très bofff”

The restaurant staff were amazing, and the girls saved the day because everything else was just…blah. The place itself was pretty good. It was much older than the photos, uncomfortable, had a weird smell, and the food was just okay. The front‑desk staff were clueless, no one helped us when we arrived, and nobody at reception spoke English or even tried to understand us, even with Google Translate. The older staff were less helpful, but the younger ones were great.

“Wonderful experience with sublime food”

The view from the bedroom was great, and we went Japanese style—breakfast and dinner staff were exceptionally nice. The onsen is fab, the food is exquisite, and it’s near the cable car. The fish outside. Parts of the hotel look dated and a bit grubby, but that’s part of its charm.

The location is good; they take care of the parking, the cable car and the nearby bus to the hotel. The onsen is clean, spacious, and beautiful. The Japanese meals are fine for those who like breakfast too. The place feels a little old‑fashioned in look and equipment.

“Extraordinary experience with fantastic onsens.”

I loved the room. Onsens were amazing! Staff were wonderful! Food was amazing. The whole experience was incredible! The only thing that needs updating are the carpets, which were dirty and seemed old. In our room the patio carpet was sticky and unclean.
