The room layout and view were good, but I had to wait in the breakfast room. The staff brought the breakfast bill for us to sign while we were still halfway through breakfast, so we had to interrupt our meal to attend to the employee’s request.

The hotel is wonderful! It’s in a great location with the Shanghai Tower, shopping malls, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and an aquarium within walking distance; right next to the hotel you can hop on a ferry to cross the river. The staff are very attentive and polite. The room is excellent, with a very comfortable bed, and there’s a pillow menu. There’s nothing negative.

Everything was flawless from check‑in to the last minute before check‑out, and the staff—especially reception and concierge—treated us perfectly. Everything was flawless.

The décor and room design were stunning, and the staff’s attention made the service simply exceptional; the restaurants were great and the view over the bund was lovely. The only downside was the long line at breakfast, but that was during a national holiday weekend.
