“There was a bed.”

We didn’t get breakfast, but the hotel’s proximity to the Zoo was convenient. The room’s cleanliness was lacking and we even found cockroaches.

There was nothing good to say. I wouldn’t recommend this location. The room they assigned us had no beds—just mattresses propped against the walls—and the space was cluttered with random junk that made it impossible to enter fully. The listing was wildly misleading and unsafe. We were traveling after a family death, I’m disabled, and the other guests were also disabled. We normally reserve handicap rooms for longer stays to keep them available for those who need them more, but this ground‑floor room had no accessible shower. I’m not saying this for pity or to get a refund; I’m saying that travelers rely on these apps for convenience, and if the properties aren’t properly vetted, that convenience disappears. The lack of beds, the parking lot filled with trucks and cars, and the staff’s refusal to refund the charges after we tried to cancel—all made the entire property filthy and unacceptable.

The sheets were all stained, dirt in the bed, food and dirt on the floor, and the shower didn’t work.
