The view from our balcony was absolutely stunning, but unfortunately, the rest of the property was not well-maintained. The whole place looked like it needed a good tidy and some TLC.

We were pleasantly surprised by this basic property, which had a lovely huge lawn and big comfortable room. It was a small walk to the river, and the people were nice too. Our friends were staying in a 5-star resort next door, but it was loud and busy - we much preferred the peace and quiet here. The only downside was the very basic restaurant and breakfast, which could be improved with a few additions, like a bonfire at night.

The access to the river, staff, and kitchen were all positives, but unfortunately, the rest of our experience was marred by very unresponsive behaviour from the management. We had to deal with a lot of issues, including no fridge in the room, garbage lying around, and a terrible iron ladder for accessing the river. The food choices were limited, and when we asked why, we were told it was because there weren't many guests - not exactly what we wanted to hear as paying customers.

Our room was clean, and the small garden outside was a nice touch for walking and leisure. However, the hygiene was a major concern, with insects in the food and flies everywhere. The electricity kept cutting off, and the AC remote wasn't working - it was a bit of a struggle to get comfortable.

The location of this hotel was perfect, right on the river bank with stunning views of the river and mountains. The rooms were nicely done and clean, and the staff were friendly and courteous. We paid a bit extra for the full board basis, but it was worth it for the experience. The nearby adventure activities were a bonus, and we enjoyed walking along the riverbank. However, the rooms were still a bit rough around the edges, and the food was a bit too oily for our taste.
