The view from the room is great and the room is spacious. The USB charger in the room doesn’t work. The coffee at breakfast was lukewarm.

“Was not happy with the 3 scoops of ice cream, which was gluten free, was only given 2 scoops.”

The location was good, as it was just across from the Carrbridge bridge. There were not many options for vegan or gluten‑free desserts.

“Good value for money and lovely staff”

The staff were lovely, the bed was comfy and the food was decent! The room was equipped with everything we needed (toiletries, towels, tea/coffee, etc.) and there was free parking. Nothing to note.

“Eat elsewhere”

The location is great. The receptionist was very helpful and had a nice manner. The room was clean and what we expected for the price. The food was beyond disappointing. We were misled by the menu that mentioned the provenance of the food. The evening meal was very poor quality especially given the price. The lemon sole was more like fish fingers – and I can’t remember the last time I was served canned peas. I suppose the red flag should have been the wine menu – red wine was simply marked as Shiraz, Merlot or Malbec. I had to ask what country they came from and the waiter had to go check! Breakfast was equally poor – cheap, low‑quality produce. Eat elsewhere. Although the room was nice enough – the corridor floor was very squeaky.
