“Perfectly relaxing beach holiday with many activities and the most cordial hosts & staff”

The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and thoughtful. Fresh fruit was always available, and the room had plenty of water and coffee, plus complimentary wine, a local drink, and a sweet on arrival. The suites and surroundings were impeccably clean and well maintained. The location was perfect and private, with plenty of parking spots. Every day we had sunbeds reserved in the first row at the beach, with towels and great food service. The sea was also perfect. We were allowed to check out late, which we appreciated a lot since our flight was in the evening.

We chose Terra Nera Suites for our honeymoon and absolutely loved this warm, family-run hotel! Our room was incredibly clean and spacious, and the surprise welcome they prepared for us was a wonderful gesture. 🥰 Having sunbeds reserved exclusively for hotel guests at Black Beach is a huge plus and incredibly comfortable. Also, the food and drinks at their all-day restaurant and cafe were simply amazing. In short, it was the perfect choice for our holiday. You can truly feel the peaceful and intimate atmosphere of a family business every single moment. We especially want to thank Katerina, who was always there to help us with a smiling face and endless care throughout our stay. Hope to see you again! 🥰

“Perfect stay for a quiet, tasty beach holiday”

The spot was stunningly beautiful, with an almost hushed vibe that showed how much the family running it cares about every detail, from the reception to the restaurant, making the trip smoother. The beach restaurant outshines all others on the shore, and the beach itself stayed spotless, with beds set aside for us daily—bonus for how quickly the cleaning crew worked. Katarina, the host, was incredible, helping us plan island excursions, just like her family. The only downside was that breakfast could have been better.

“Exception stay in Santorini with exceptional people.”

If you want a dream getaway in Santorini, Terra Nera Suites delivers. From check‑in to check‑out, you’re treated like family, with Katerina and her dad Jorgos and the rest of the crew going above and beyond. Katerina runs the front desk, always ready to answer questions, suggest activities, arrange transport, or meet other needs. The family also runs the beachfront restaurant, where the food was tasty and we chatted with Jorgos daily. Dishes can be brought to your room or eaten at the restaurant or on the beach. With only six suites, the place never feels crowded; a lovely pool with lounge chairs and several seating spots around the common area keeps you relaxed, and awnings block the sun for heat relief. The property looks better in person than online, is spotless, and the rooms are well equipped with bedding, a sink, dishes, a mini fridge, an ironing board and iron, a hair dryer (with diffuser!), and toiletries. They also supply plenty of large water bottles because the island tap water isn’t drinkable. The décor feels like a designer magazine spread, with each room themed after an ancient Santorini archaeological site that locals rave about and is worth visiting. The restaurant sits in front of the suites, with a good buffer so you don’t hear the dining noise. It has a large covered area and beachfront seats on a boardwalk‑style strip right on the beach, separated by a small street. The only thing that made me leave was that.
