I really appreciated how helpful and accommodating the staff were; they let me leave my luggage after checkout even before the reception opened, and later called to let me know I could pick it up later than expected. Very kind and thoughtful service. The area can be a little noisy at night, with a nearby bar and occasionally busy streets, although this wasn’t a major issue for me. I also found the hostel not particularly social; the kitchen is the main common area, but it didn’t really have an atmosphere that encouraged meeting or chatting with other guests.

The location is perfect because the station and the town are just a short walk away, and every door has a keypad, so security feels solid. However, the toilet had a strange perfume‑like smell, the soap was unusual, and there was no hair dryer in the bathroom; when I asked the owner, he insisted it was in my room, but it turned out it wasn’t there and I couldn’t rent one.
