The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable! The bathroom had the whitest towels I’ve ever seen (nice!). They have a convenient Venezuelan restaurant on site. My dinner was delicious! They also serve burgers for the less adventurous. There’s an outdoor pool—rare to find both a pool and a restaurant! I can’t wait to see the pool next summer. I have a six‑year‑old granddaughter who lives in town and I’ve been looking for a hotel with a nice outdoor pool. The restaurant is a huge bonus! A pot‑smoking vagrant was hanging around outside the hotel. I had to use a strange side door to reach my room because major renovations were underway, and there was an old lady on a ledge I had to navigate around to get to the entrance. They were a little off‑putting but seemed harmless. Anyway, it wasn’t a good look. The bathroom was okay but had mold on the grout lines. A silverfish‑like bug was crawling around, which gave me the creeps. Nobody wants bugs in a hotel bathroom. The hallway and my non‑smoking room both smelled like cigarette smoke. I hope they resolve these issues.
