The old timber‑framed house oozes charm and the room had the basics covered. Although the owner wasn’t on site, we got immediate phone help with clear directions to the key and our room. For a four‑bedroom setup we missed a wardrobe or hooks and only had one nightstand, which felt cramped but was workable for a single night. The breakfast was truly tiny—no rolls or savory toppings—so adults went hungry while the kids were fine. Arrival staff were only reachable by phone but were instantly helpful and friendly; we had to hunt for staff when returning the key and weren’t seen at breakfast, so they seemed unaware.
