“A true piece of paradise”
The place feels like a slice of paradise with breathtaking views over the Nine Arch Bridge, and the steps right outside the gate drop straight down to the bridge itself. Upali has created something special and is incredibly kind and helpful, even driving us up and down the hill in his tuktuk because cars can’t access that road. His breakfasts kept us energized all day. If you can book a stay here, do it—spots are filling up for good reason. We loved our stay.

A dreamy view of the Nine Arch Bridge, a super friendly and attentive owner who fulfills every wish and picks you up from downtown Ella whenever needed, plus a spectacular breakfast with a fantastic view. Nothing else.

“Unique and perfect location for Nine Arches Bridge in Ella.”
This spot is fantastic, offering the best view imaginable of the Nine Arch Bridge, and I spent hours on the balcony soaking in the expansive scenery and the lively bridge below. Upali is a perfect host, always ready to help, and the breakfast spread is amazing—plentiful and delicious. I hope to return someday. The road to the place is a bit rough, but that’s typical for Sri Lanka, and Upali gave me several rides into town, so it never was an issue.

We had a wonderful stay; the cabin is perfectly positioned to see the Nine Arch Bridge and its beautiful surroundings—a spectacular view! Breakfast on the balcony in the morning was amazing, a feast. The owner was very hospitable, went out of his way to ensure everything was available for a great stay, and provided rides to and from Ella town if needed. 100% recommend and would definitely stay again.
