Basically everything was great; it was the best place we visited on our route, the view was nice, it was close to the bridge, and we loved it so much, but the AC didn’t work the day we arrived, which I think they fixed.

The stay was fantastic: the room and the building are steeped in history, very pretty, and incredibly spacious. The location is perfect, surrounded by great local cafés and restaurants, and the breakfast croissant was the best we’ve ever had in Italy! Just remember there are stairs to navigate—no problem for us, but if you dislike stairs a modern hotel might suit you better. We’ll definitely come back!

The room was huge, with 4 beds for one person. The breakfast bar was excellent, offering everything you could want. Both the young woman at check‑in and the gentleman at breakfast were extremely nice and friendly. Perfect! However, there should be a price for single occupancy; as it stands it’s already quite expensive.
