Everything was great. I slept well after a long, exhausting trip. I drove on the M4 from Berkshire, hit two closed junctions, had long detours, and then a major accident. Finally I got to the ferry, only for the ferry to be late. I arrived at Ashley’s at 10.30pm, two hours late, but we were welcomed warmly.

The place was spotless and the host wonderful. The location was great, just a 5‑minute taxi ride from Dungarvan.
