The location is great, the staff are very friendly, and we could leave our bags in the hotel while we checked out. The shower was wonderfully warm! The smell in the room was unpleasant and hard to get rid of.

The room was spacious, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was decent, and the location near Chinatown and Kota Tua center is excellent. The rooms are a bit dated and therefore a bit shabby, though clean, and the lack of a fridge is a drawback. Because of the underground metro construction, there’s a large construction site nearby, adding extra noise and poor air quality.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at; I don’t think I’ll stay at a better one. It’s unbeatable. The Nasi Goreng is incredible, and the shrimp bread is the most authentic in all of Indonesia. Highly recommended. I’ll leave as soon as possible.
