The welcome was very warm, the freedom to stay as you like, the easy communication, and the owner letting us keep the room until 14:30 without any hassle—really super friendly. The Cairo noise was a bit much, but on the terrace we were shielded from it, letting us rest after the city’s bustle.

The staff are very kind and present; the owner printed my check‑in even though there was no printer on site, then sent me the copy. We arrived at 2 a.m. and he was awake to greet me, even giving me a snack to “eat dinner.” The people are very human, and the room offers a nice view of the pyramids. The cleaning definitely needs improvement—lots of dust on the furniture, the bathroom should have disposable products, and the breakfast could use a bit more variety.

Breakfast was fine, but it was cloudy so we couldn’t see the pyramids; the bed was comfortable and my room even had a terrace. Riding the elevator was a real adventure… The hotel is definitely safe, but the cleanliness was worse. The bed wasn’t clean and was full of hair and fur; after I pointed it out the receptionist swapped it. The floor was dirty, the towels didn’t look clean, so I disinfected the bathroom myself; after wiping the sink the cloth was filthy, and there were hairs in the toilet and shower. Maybe this is the standard cleaning in this country, but as Europeans we expect more—overall the cleaning quality was terrible.

The view of the pyramids is nice, but the location is not great.

The balcony is wide and you can see the pyramids; the staff are helpful and the Egyptian breakfast is good. The elevator is old and scary to ride, and there is no hair dryer.
