The spot by the river was great. Rooms were spotless, neat and attractive. Staff were welcoming and recalled me from a previous stay, very helpful. Nothing I disliked, everything was fine. The rate was slightly steep, but that was their call and I chose to accept it, and I was satisfied with the outcome.

The rooms, reception and facilities were excellent. Clean and courteous staff. The façade looked freshly painted. Location in the Riverside district was superb. Breakfast was good. No hair dryer or iron, otherwise everything was present.

Breakfast was very poor; I've stayed here many times but it still needs a serious upgrade. The walk‑in shower was not one we’re you have to climb in and out of the bath.

I gave it a positive rating of 3.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its fantastic location and exceptional cleanliness. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. However, I was a bit disappointed that there was no tea-making facility in my room, which would have been a lovely touch.
