What a unique and memorable experience. My family loves adventures, but we spent a lot of time at the hotel because McMenamins was part of our Bend trip. The food was great, and hunting for hidden rooms was fun. Reading all the art and old photos felt like a museum visit. The coffee cart was delightful, and the soak was wonderful. I only gave it a 9 because the rooms were poorly lit and a bit hard to get ready in the morning. We’ll start our passport and stay at more McMenamins in the future. We would have liked better lighting in the rooms, but that’s typical of most hotels.

I loved the uniqueness and the soaking tub, and the location was great. The mattress should be replaced.

The breakfast was the typical McMenamins fare—just okay. There were more vegan options needed.

All staff were very friendly, and the overall atmosphere was great—kinda funky, just what you’d expect from McMenamins.
