The place feels tired and in need of an update, and I found it expensive for what it was.

The hotel is a nice spot about a mile from the palace, with easy walking access to amenities that were great and an excellent breakfast, plus onsite parking that was convenient; however, you’ll have to walk down small streets to reach the promenade.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent, with very good facilities, though it was a bit farther from the old town—about a 20‑minute walk.
