This was by far the most sustainable stay in South Africa; David was a lovely host, the rooms were very clean, and breakfast was lovely—no negatives.

The stay was short, just one night, but extremely pleasant, leaving me wanting more. Much of that was thanks to the hosts Johan and David: friendly, attentive, and ready to ensure comfort while giving great local tips. The rooms were spacious, well organized, and very comfortable, with an excellent bed, air‑conditioning, TV, and a functional bathroom featuring a good‑pressure shower. The balcony in front of the room offered a delicious view of the bay. Breakfast was simple, left in the fridge the night before, but everything was fresh and tasty: fruit, milk, juice, homemade muffins, and a nostalgic touch with polenguinho. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet close to the city center by car.

I liked the spot and the nice veranda, but breakfast wasn’t my thing; it’s put in the fridge early and I could smell it sour. The yogurt comes in a glass jar like the honey, but the lid is under rust. I’d rather use supermarket yogurt jars, it feels cleaner. The fruit was good.
