Punduk Villa – The Manta in Selat is a two‑bedroom lodge featuring tiled floors, a dining area, private entrance, terrace and balcony. Guests enjoy an infinity pool, sun terrace, lounge, restaurant and picnic area with free Wi‑Fi throughout. The villa offered a view, but we were excited to relax and plan east Bali trips there. Two very polite people greeted us and escorted us to our villa, only to see another building being constructed right next to it – not mentioned in the listing, yet the construction noise was obvious. The guide even pointed it out. On top of that, we could constantly hear chickens. The biggest problem was cleanliness: used slippers, stained robes and sheets, dust everywhere, hair on the floor, and beige pillows replaced by ugly red ones to hide stains. There were stains on the coffee table outside and on the main dining table inside. The booking photos showed bedrooms that looked closed, with glass and doors, but the interior shots made them look like proper rooms. The open concept was not mentioned at all. We left immediately; they said no refund, so we left and the bank handled it.

Panduk Villa was undoubtedly a highlight of our trip. Agus, his wife, and the whole team were among the kindest, most welcoming people we’ve met. They handled everything and made us feel incredibly welcome from the start. The villa and its views are breathtaking – never seen anything like it. The architecture is fantastic, blending beautifully with nature, and the villa has everything you could wish for, including a large projector for movie nights and dumbbells to balance the delicious food freshly prepared and delivered. The beds are very comfortable, and the mosquito nets add a romantic touch. We also had an amazing massage in the garden next to the pool, the perfect finishing touch. Agus, thanks for the Arak – a lovely gesture that made the stay even more memorable. The only improvement we can think of is that we wish we could have stayed much longer. Panduk Villa is truly special, and we’d return in a heartbeat – an unforgettable experience from start to finish ❤️

Espectacular es la palabra que mejor define este alojamiento. El diseño de la cabaña, sus detalles tanto interiores como de acceso y en el jardín son preciosos. La atención de todos los trabajadores desde el primer momento, así como las opciones de comida fueron muy buenas. La piscina y sus vistas al volcán son increíbles. Para 4 personas solo tiene un baño, pero para nosotros no fue problema.

The spot is gorgeous and one-of-a-kind with a stunning view, and the staff were friendly, but the nearby places were a bit noisy, although that quieted down before 12.
