The hospitality here is truly exceptional, a genuine Oberpfälzer warmth that feels sincere; owner Stefan Bergmann runs the place with cheerful charm and gives the best local outing and dining tips. The only downside is the surrounding area, which the owner can't improve, but if you look past that nothing else bothers you.

During a multi‑day kayak trip we stayed at Gasthof Kreuterbeck and felt very comfortable; the host is a genuine, straightforward, friendly, and very helpful person. He was especially flexible, letting us leave our boat there and even offering to lock the paddle and boat trailer safely. It’s clear he cares about his guests. It was the perfect stopover for our tour. Thank you for the hospitality—we’ll definitely return. 🚣♂️

The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice bed. The restaurant food was good, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful.
