“We had a nice relaxing weekend and the lodge was comfortable.”
The room was comfy, stocked with plenty of utensils and a spacious fridge, but the patio chairs and table were rusty and the chairs were uncomfortable, and other lodges had better garden furniture.
Nathan answered every question promptly, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. The lodge sits on the edge of a charming road lined with cafés and shops, so reaching it requires a brief walk or a drive on a B road; with two kids, I had to drive. Inside the lodge there's no direct countryside access, though the whole property is enveloped by trees.
The place was cozy, well run, and the lodge felt warm and pleasant. The bed was a bit small, and the hob was difficult to operate.
The spot was perfect for a quick stop during my journey, and I couldn't find anything to criticize.
It was my second visit, and I already booked a return stay for November.
