The staff were friendly and the location was good, but the rooms had a strange musty odor and were dirty when we arrived—dead bugs on the window sill, a sticky table top, crumbs on the floor. The toilet was blocked, the TV didn't work, and despite notifying staff, no one came to fix it. There was a truck stop on the property that could be noisy depending on your room. We were charged £15/night for a “dog cleaning charge,” yet the room wasn't cleaned daily, so the fee felt overpriced compared to the booking.

The room was perfect for our visit, with nothing missing. Check‑in was quick and easy, and we forgot our toothpaste but the receptionist kindly gave us a complimentary sachet. The staff were very friendly.
