The host Flor and everyone else were incredibly friendly, helpful, and generous, treating us with extra tasty meals and pleasant company. The house and landscape feel ancient—luxury isn’t expected in this setting—and are unique, making it an ideal retreat for solo travelers or groups. We hope to return someday and wish Flor all the best. However, the arrival is tricky; the listing and booking detail it thoroughly, so follow the instructions or you’ll end up in a remote spot. The mountain roads are rough, and the stone house is somewhat noisy.
