We arrived on gray autumn days, so the large indoor spaces were much appreciated! It didn’t feel cold inside. The house was renovated with authenticity and charm, the rooms were beautiful, and the beds were comfortable. Fortunately, it doesn’t rain often in Montélimar, otherwise there would be a lot of noise at night from water leaking from roofs without gutters – the hot water was missing, yet there was no waste. We don’t hear the TGV at all inside the house, but the TGV passing outside disrupts the charm of isolation when we aren’t warned.
