The spot was spot-on, but the room cleaning fell short.

I liked how close the hotel was to Suseong Lake and just a block from the subway station, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. The shower was good, the room was spacious, and there was a coffee shop right downstairs. On the downside, the subway overhead rail tracks right in front of the hotel made the street noise unbearable when I opened the windows, and there was no air‑conditioning—only heating—so it was a problem if you’re traveling to Dageu in the warmer months. The Wi‑Fi kept dropping all the time, forcing me to hunt for alternative hotspots in nearby rooms.

“8층 주점 노래방 소리가 들리는 최악의 숙소”

After dinner, we got back to the room and were hit with karaoke noise – we couldn’t believe it. When we called the front desk about the bar on the 8th floor, they finally told us about it. The singing went on past 2 am, and only then did we understand why they handed out earplugs. If they want to run a bar, they need proper soundproofing or move it underground; the weekend was absolutely the worst, and I’ll never forget the guest belting “Spring Days Are Gone” at 1 am.
