The front desk assigned us a room. The property was no longer available for rent, and the booking had not informed us. We slept with the staff on the hotel floor. I didn’t like that booking was unreachable; I tried calling but got no response—just a dead line. I expect compensation for the stay.

The annex is no longer for rent. The current owner can’t get out of the agreement with . I arrived in Læsø at 18.20 and discovered I couldn’t stay at the place I had booked and paid for! Luckily the hotel on the opposite side of the street offered a small room. Strong criticism for renting out an apartment that doesn’t exist and, on top of that, taking the money for the stay!

I was disappointed because I never got any heads‑up that the annex had no rooms and that I would have to stay at Carlsen’s hotel, which was quite cozy, but they could have told me.

The location was good, but the kitchen was functional yet below standard; the beds were bad, worn out, and I literally fell asleep on them.
