1 double bed
I was thrilled with everything, from the homemade bread and scones to the overall charm of the spot.
This place was lovely, with a very comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and all the essentials for a short break; the owners and their dogs were very welcoming, and the village had a friendly pub, so we were disappointed it was only a one‑night stay, though nothing was bad.
“Wonderful escape to the country with everything you could need in comfortable clean room.”
Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making for a very relaxing stay; the hosts checked on us and offered help whenever needed, everything was clean and well maintained, we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings and walking right from the front door, the shop and tea room were just a 2‑minute walk down the street, and the 8‑mile walk to Tarr Steps and back was a fantastic day out; the only downside was that the pub over the road, which was outside the owners’ control, was not great, so we’d recommend the one at Tarr Steps instead.
“Our second time and we ll be back”
Everything was just perfect, but we wished we had stayed longer.
The accommodation was great and met all our needs.
