Regency Hotel Malabar Hill

“Big mistake staying here.”

The rooms are pleasantly decorated. The breakfast is basic but the friendly staff bring a range of fresh items on request. When checking in the receptionist was unfriendly. No mention was made of the large scale construction work going on; floors 5 and 6. This began at 9.30am and continued throughout the day. Incredibly loud drilling, hammering and banging. Impossible to stay in the room

“Comfortable modern stay with great views”

Although it was a short stay, the hotel offers a more upscale, modern feel compared to others. The room was spacious, with a nice view where you could see the water, which added a lot to the experience. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was also very good. The location is convenient, similar to other central areas, with easy access to nearby spots. The service felt a bit impersonal. The staff came across as somewhat apathetic, which contrasts with the warmer hospitality found in other places

“Not value for money. Beasuse of Prime location they are charging high rates.”

The location is in the prime area. The quality of the washroom was too old and not up to the mark.

The staff tried to be helpful. The bathroom was old and rather worn down.
