“Beautiful view and helpful staff”
The view is fantastic, everything is clean, the breakfast was very nice with a wide variety, and the high‑level restaurant served dinner well; the staff were very helpful when we had to call for medical help, though the eggs at breakfast were cold.

We really enjoy this hotel, having come back for the third time, but the bar offer is truly insufficient; many cocktails couldn’t be made because key ingredients were missing, including the regional specialty Macvin. We invited friends to join us, but they couldn’t enjoy themselves. The glass portions were ridiculously small, even for a Parisian standard, and the prices were Parisian as well. For a place like this, a proper bar service is essential. Dinner prices were also exorbitant for the quality offered: over two hundred euros for five bar drinks, two dishes, and two glasses of wine.

The hotel sits close to Col de la Faucille with a lovely view, and the suite with balcony overlooks the lake and the Alps. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the large parking lot offered charging stations for e‑cars and storage for mountain bikes. The food at the Bistro was good, while the Gastronomique restaurant was excellent. The bathroom and toilet were very noisy, the breakfast price felt too high, and the wine list included many crossed‑out (sold‑out) wines, which seemed out of step with the price level at Gastronomique.

The view is good, but everything else—especially the restaurant—was disappointing.
The room size and layout are great, and the bathroom is spacious and pleasant with good bedding. However, having an outdoor heat pump only 5 m from our window that made a constant “purr” was very annoying—sleeping with the window open was impossible, and even closed it was a challenge! The rest of the hotel is fine, but the food and drinks felt overpriced, so the value for money was rather average.
