The place was gorgeous, spotless, and the host was lovely. The only hiccup was that there were no bin bags in the bins; otherwise, everything was perfect!

We had the use of a lovely kitchen to make our own breakfast, and the lounge was also very comfortable. As I was there with a friend, we had to sleep in one double bed where two singles would have been more appropriate.

I was really impressed by how calm the place was and how many facilities they actually have compared to what they say.

The spot is in a nice country lane right near Lincoln, but the host’s greeting was friendly yet the excuses about the property during the intro made us uneasy; the bedroom was very basic with no place to hang clothes, the bathrooms needed a serious clean and had obvious mould, and the outdoor furniture was only good for firewood. With a bit more effort and a few fixes the property could be great, but right now it feels tired and gloomy.

The rural setting in the heart of Lincolnshire was lovely, the room was very comfortable, and I’m grateful for having stayed there.
