The fortress complex is beautiful. There are two restaurants and nice little shops. The surrounding area is great for cycling. I didn’t like that the bed in our room was built into a niche, so one person had to climb over the other to get out. That was the only downside.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the surroundings were pleasant. The room was clean but fell short of the standard in terms of equipment, and the breakfast was tasty but offered a very limited selection.

Breakfast, the location, and the hotel’s facilities (breakfast room) were generally in order. The owner is very competent, helpful, and nice, and the area is absolutely quiet. A hairdryer should be part of every hotel’s basic kit, and the TV was not working, but the issue was fixed promptly. Other amenities (e.g., missing coat hooks) could use improvement. When an event occurs (for example, a market), cars have to be driven to the parking lot about 600 m away from the Info Center.
