The place was super calm and relaxing, and the villa felt like stepping back in time—definitely cozy and homely.

The facilities are gorgeous and the staff were amazing and very helpful. However, the experience fell short because we were told we’d booked a spa room, but it wasn’t one when we arrived, so we had to contact the caretakers to arrange an upgrade, which made us feel like the room descriptions were misleading.

We usually love staying here, but this time the reverse air‑conditioners in both bedrooms were broken, which was a real disappointment for us older folks, and the TV didn’t work on free‑to‑air. We called the after‑hours number and received prompt friendly help, and the Wi‑Fi worked for about 20 minutes before shutting off.

Having a balcony overlooking the lake was amazing; ducks, birds, fish, and even a pelican kept us entertained, and the sunrise was beautiful—so relaxing.
