“a cheap and convenient hostel located near the centre in a nice neighbourhood”

The spot is spot‑on – just a short walk from the coach and train stations, the city centre and the seafront, with a handful of cafés and bakeries around. Housed in an old‑fashioned Baku building with parquet floors, it was a bit of a hunt to find (no sign when I got there, I just opened a street door and hoped it was the right place). The owners were great, letting me check in early after my morning flight and staying friendly throughout, and a lady comes by to tidy the rooms daily.

This place nails the basics – it’s right where you need to be and the facilities are solid enough for a short stay. Nothing fancy, but the convenience makes up for it.

“Perfect Hostel at the Perfect Location”

Wasim runs the hostel like a little community – he’s humble, caring, and makes sure everything stays spotless. It sits on one of the prettiest streets in the Nizami district, which is always buzzing with tourists and has everything you need nearby.

Very central in Baku, just steps from the main attractions, and the hostel itself is tidy and well‑organized. I liked how clean everything felt.

Great value for the money, easy to shop nearby, and just a short walk to the main sights; the owner is also pretty nice. It would be better if they offered disposable slippers for a small fee and added bed curtains for a bit more privacy, especially in mixed dorms.
