The location was great and the building had a charming old‑world feel with plenty of character. Some maintenance and room‑preparation hiccups were noticeable, but the manager was hard‑working, apologetic, and fixed everything quickly and cheerfully.

The spot was spot‑on, and the pub staff were super friendly and helpful. The first‑floor rooms were welcoming, though the carpets were very dirty and stained, and the blinds were either missing or of poor quality.

It was a really cozy place. The staff were sweet, pleasant, and very helpful and respectful. I got a lovely little roof‑top room that was so cozy and nice for a night’s stay; it was nice not to sleep right over the pub, where it was quiet. There was a small issue with the food, but I quickly got something else instead.

Great location and nice atmosphere. Upper rooms are quaint and unique with vaulted rafter ceilings. Check in was a bit bumpy with new or untrained staff but it was fine
