The inn’s location was convenient, close to the beach, and breakfast was served in Cuxhaven; the bed was clean and suitable for sleeping, and there was Wi‑Fi and a bottle of Selters. The furniture and carpet were very poor, and aside from the renovation work on the timber frame—which didn’t bother me—the interior felt very old, dark, and worn, as if nothing had been done since the 1960s. The entrance wasn’t signposted, so I had to look for it myself; there were cracks in the ceiling and stains on the walls, and the floor creaked with every step—including next door. I couldn’t understand the window and had to leave it open all night. In short, if you just need a cheap place to stay, it works, but it’s not a restful holiday. Also, only a small towel was provided, so I couldn’t shower. I would have liked to write a positive review because the couple made an effort, but overall, it was just okay.

The chef was quite friendly, but the room and furnishings were very old, the carpet had many nasty spots, and the breakfast was not exciting at all.
