“Fabulous accommodation and beautiful village to stay”

Heta Nozawa Onsen’s apartment was stunning, with the most comfortable beds, a superb kitchen and bathroom, and walking distance to ski slopes. The bus stop to the train station (shuttle very frequent) and the hilltop restaurants were all within reach. The hot pool and sauna were a nice bonus, making it our favorite spot of the trip. The staff went above and beyond to explain everything, though we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy more.

“Unique little hotel with great bar and staff”

The staff were excellent, and the little bar beneath the hotel was fantastic. The village location was good, and private time in the hot pool and sauna was enjoyable. The shower was tiny but functional. The room was unique, featuring a record player and a vinyl selection. The bed was cramped, forcing us to crawl off its end to exit, and the lack of curtains made sleeping past 5 am impossible.

Check‑in was quick, the place was clean, the location superb, the staff friendly, and it was beautiful—already looking forward to returning. No complaints.

The place is in a good spot, close enough to the center but far enough to stay quiet. The rooms are clean, modern, and minimal. The hot bath and saunas were cool. The only downside was that there were no curtains or blinds in my room, so I woke up too early.

The onsen and sauna were fantastic, the staff were wonderful, and the bar served lovely cocktails. The location was perfect, right next to the ski lifts and the town.
