We really appreciated the warm welcome and the unique character of the place; the location is perfect for walking around the city, and the owners’ restaurant recommendations were spot on. The breakfast was well curated and plentiful, and it feels like a true artists’ home.

The accommodation was very pleasant, just 100 m from the city center, tucked in a quiet little alley. The renovated old house blends old and new, with a nice wooden ceiling and especially the personal touch from owner Mrs. Antonelli, who helped us even though we had car troubles. Thanks a lot! The continental breakfast was also very good. In short, I’d give it 11 out of 10. The photos on Booking are accurate and real. The only thing we noticed was that the breakfast was served in plastic cups; I would have preferred only glass, even though it’s common in all of Italy. I was surprised that even in expensive cafés they serve water in plastic cups.

The house is gorgeous, and the host is incredibly welcoming. As cat lovers, that was a definite bonus for us. During summer, the common areas can carry a faint scent from the cats; it’s not awful, but it might bother some guests.
