The host was very nice and greeted us warmly, showing us everything right away. We stayed in room 4, which was huge and the bed was truly large and comfortable for Scottish standards. The toilet, shower, and bathtub were in a separate room on the hallway, but only we used them, which we knew from the booking, so it wasn’t an issue. The view from the large windows into the forest was beautiful, and the furnishings were thoughtfully arranged. There was a coffee machine with capsules and tea. We were very satisfied, and it was a great stop on our NC500 trip. The bed was especially comfortable. We couldn’t bring breakfast because our ferry left early, but the host prepared excellent lunch packs that we ate on the ferry, which we found very kind. The only suggestion: a Chromecast or similar on the TV would be cool for streaming from a phone, but that isn’t a real criticism.
