“Accogliente ma molto tranquillo”

The cabin was very beautiful, fully equipped and super welcoming. We chose this hostel because of the rave reviews about its vibe, but we didn't experience that. Everyone was on their own and nothing was organized for us to hang out, except a movie night where people left halfway through. We were a bit disappointed. The steep climb to get there is a bit tiring, and it makes you less inclined to leave and return to the hostel. Also, there was no breakfast – the only hostel in Nicaragua that doesn't include it in the price.

The sunrise with the monkeys was amazing. During my stay, no activities were offered, so I felt stuck. The volunteers at that hostel were few and not friendly, and they didn't make me feel welcome – that's the negative part of the place.

The kitchen and showers were good. The shared room is a bit small for four people; it's a place for Germans and French without any Nicaraguan essence.

The place is amazing, perfect for relaxing and surfing. The bungalow was fantastic and the staff were nice.

“Wish we had more time there to get acclimated. So beautiful.”

The property is absolutely beautiful and very zen. The uphill climb is intense. A taxi to get there is pricey, but there is a shuttle from the beach. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was stellar and the place was again very tranquil. It is a bit remote, but if that’s what you’re after, it’s perfect.
