“Jamais voltaria nesse lugar”
I stayed 40 minutes in the room after checkout thanks to the owner’s kindness. The lodge’s facilities are terrible: the linens and towels are low quality, so we bought a set of sheets and pillowcases to use because the ones provided felt like satin and got hot. Cleaning was lacking—after two days the bathroom trash wasn’t taken out. I showered, washed my hair, and the towel stayed very wet. On the second day I asked for a change because it was wet, and I was told there would be a charge since linens and towels were only changed every three days. Imagine staying with a wet towel for three days—never seen that before, even though I travel monthly. Breakfast was basic and tasteless, except for the orange cake. The dry couscous and fried egg in oil were the only redeeming items. The linens had dirty stains or were poorly washed. The room smelled of mold and had dirty walls. The location is close to the beach but feels odd. The price is outrageous and unexplained: 750,00 for two nights to stay three days with a wet towel, eat bread with egg, in a place that feels more like a hostel. Right now I’m at an IBIS in Vitória, paying 287,00 a night, and I’m super happy because the linens and cleaning alone make up for it.
