“DÍAS IDÍLICOS EN FAMILIA EN UN ENTORNO INMEJORABLE”

The house turned out to be a genuine gem—well‑kept and set in the lovely, peaceful village of Sunbilla, where the kids could wander the streets, feed the cows behind the property, and enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals. Its location was perfect for trips to Pamplona and other northern Navarre attractions such as the Larrún train line in France, the Zugarramurdi and Urdax caves, Elizondo, the Xorroxin waterfall, Amaiur, all within the Baztán Valley. Maite and Xabier were fantastic hosts before, during, and after our stay. The spacious home offered three double bedrooms with en‑suite baths plus a larger kids’ room with two singles and a bunk, stocked with toys for all ages, plus a barbecue area, porch, and a large living‑dining‑kitchen that was spotless and well‑maintained. We’d definitely book again if we return to the area.

“Huis in orde, maar als de host je bedreigt is de gezelligheid er van af.”

The house was fine, but I didn’t realize a host could make a stay so unpleasant.

The location between sea and mountains in a very quiet village is perfect. The house is huge and cozy for family holidays, especially for little ones with a garden and plenty of toys. The adults also enjoyed the garden, hammock, and lounge chairs after daily hikes. The only downside was that the days we stayed were very hot, and without air conditioning the nights on the upper floor were somewhat warm. It was a brief heat wave; I expect most of the year won’t have this issue.

“Excelente!”

The house is beautiful, well maintained, and has everything for adults, kids, and pets. The area is lovely with great hikes and culinary experiences.
