The house is a refurbished old building in the historic part of town. The rooms were clean, and the location worked well for us thanks to the nearby local train stop, though some guests might see that as a downside. Even though the apartment sits close to the railway tracks and the port, the noise level didn’t exceed the usual city bustle. There was a small hiccup with the door access code, but it was fixed quickly. The apartment is very family‑friendly, offering separate bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen.

“Fint sentralt beliggende overnattingssted”

The location and the view from the roof terrace are great. The beds and showers are good, and the room and hotel interior are well kept. It’s central and a solid base for exploring the area. The room has a fridge and AC. The room and terrace are spacious. The nearby restaurants are all high quality. When the staff aren’t around, there should be more cups and pots for self‑service, the roof terrace could use a cleaning, and there should be outdoor cushions available for the patio furniture.

“Setubal”

The terrace is there, but everything feels very neglected. Both the terrace and the common areas are filthy, and getting in and out is a hassle because the key is chained to a rope.

The location looks out over the ferry harbour and is a short walk into town. The room is large with a sunny balcony that offers a great sea view, and the bed is comfortable. Some maintenance is needed: the toilet didn’t flush, the issue was reported and acknowledged but no one came to fix it, the drains can be a bit smelly at times, and the small communal kitchen is a bit scruffy.
