The hostel is in a central street of Tanah Rata; the beds, pillows, and duvets are very comfortable and clean. There are large lockers for the dormitory, and the front‑desk lady is lovely and gives good trail advice. The kitchen is well equipped and both common rooms are bright and pleasant. A big sink is available for cleaning shoes, which is handy after a trail. The dorm has 14 beds but only 2 showers that double as toilets, so it feels a bit cramped. There’s no air‑conditioning, just small fans in each cabin, so it got a bit hot at night. The hostel is clean and well maintained, though I did spot a few small cockroaches.
