Breakfast under shady trees and a newly renovated room were highlights. However, the bedroom windows faced the busy main road, and the courtyard still needs tidying up.

The apartment was modern, clean, very spacious, and had great beds—awesome! It was a shame that the apartment was in such a dull building across the main road. Also odd that we were greeted by the owner with blood on his hands because he had just slaughtered a deer. That made the place feel original, but I doubt all guests would appreciate that. It was also disappointing that there was no yogurt at breakfast, although the omelet with bacon was delicious.

“Einmal und nie wieder”

The entrance area of the rooms was neglected after the rooms were renovated; the hallway looked very untidy. The inn next to it is completely outdated and does not match the website’s portrayal. The rooms are simply unkempt, unrelated to the brand’s reputation. The adjacent beer garden is uncomfortable and old‑fashioned. The menu offers many dishes that cannot possibly be fresh or homemade. The tavern is 8 km from the Danube cycle path, making it unsuitable for cyclists, especially since the area offers nothing else.
