The location was excellent and convenient, the hotel was clean and safe, and the shower was good. Service was very good, and the spa and laundry facilities were solid. However, breakfast offered almost no vegetarian options, we were initially placed on a smoking floor before being moved (the staff should check preferences at check‑in), the AC was hard to use, and the rooms felt very, very claustrophobic.

There was a large public bath and complimentary breakfast, which felt like good value, but I couldn’t figure out how to turn the lights on in the room.

The morning meal was pretty tasty and the bath was clean, probably helped by the low weekday crowd; I have no complaints.

The front‑desk staff were extremely helpful—my computer‑illiterate reservation had mistakenly booked me for two rooms instead of one night for a single room, and they coordinated with the overseas travel agency to sort it out. Thanks a lot. The downside was that the hotel’s own parking was unavailable, forcing me to use a nearby private lot.
