“Fijne accommodatie en erg lieve en behulpzame gastvrouw en gastheer!”
The house was very comfortable and spacious, close to Giarre’s centre, and from there we could easily reach Taormina, Etna, the Alcantara gorge, and even Milazzo for a trip to Stromboli; the hosts were very friendly and helpful, ready whenever needed. On the first day we didn’t understand how the shower controls worked, but later that afternoon Salvo (host) and Antonio (son) came by to help; the kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped, and the outdoor area with seating and lounge chairs was great. Overall a lovely experience, though we’d have appreciated a washing machine, though it’s not a must.

The bed was comfortable and the room spacious.

The location on the street was good. The walls were in poor condition, full of ants everywhere, and outside the door smelled like a sewer—definitely avoid it.
