Tropical Mountain Valley Casita

“A wonderful refuge close to home that feels far away.”

This place is great, the bed is comfortable, the hot tub felt amazing, but it was too cold that night to use the pool and the lights were off anyway. The palm trees along the walkways to and from the hot tub and pool need trimming—at least they shouldn’t be sharp. The light at the pool entrance is burned out or not working; it was fine the last time.

The spot was in a solid location on a nice property, and both the pool and hot tub worked fine. The tortoises were adorable and friendly. However, the house wasn’t as clean as it could have been; the lighting was dusty and the floor was quite dirty. Even the bottoms of my socks got dirty, so a thorough mopping was needed.

“Beautiful tropical private stay outside of Mesa!”

This place was a unique and stunning oasis. The casita tucked itself among the palm trees, offering a peaceful and quiet vibe. Inside, the open layout was wonderfully decorated, comfortable, and clean, with tile kitchen counters and wood furnishings. Waking up to the chirping of birds and nature was a delight ❤️.

“Great property, Great bed, Awesome hot tub. Hope of come back.”

The Casita was great, the bed was super comfy, and we both slept well. I loved the hot tub, but we arrived so late that we didn’t have time to explore beyond it; we crashed until about 9 am. We brought some breakfast items, so the kitchenette was handy. Once I finally connected, the internet was fast. The owner responded quickly to my questions. The pool looked nice, but we avoided it because it was quite cold outside. We greeted the tortoises while checking out; they were sunning themselves in a neat enclosure off the side of the Casita, a detail I only noticed right before we left. A binder or info card covering the Casita, internet setup, and property features would help future guests. The bathroom felt a bit cramped for a tall guy. The floor appeared clean, but as I walked around, my feet picked up debris that I had to dust off before bed. The kitchen cabinets need drawer pulls to make opening easier. The ceiling fan in the main room had no visible control or switch on the wall; I was told it was one of the switches by the back door, but none seemed to work for the fan—just the lights. My wife wore a coat and was still cold in the room, so I had to turn on the heat for the night to keep her comfortable.
